I'd really appreciate your help in finding some volunteers to participate in some FREE Flange Fitting sessions with me (while using a breast pump).
You might already be aware of this, but the size flanges that come with pumps are not appropriate for probably 95% of the world's population (or more). I am passionate about the fact that flange fitting is vital for pumping success...and flange sizing is even helpful for those who think pumping is going well for them.
I am looking for volunteers to help me demonstrate what I do (which will help each volunteer find that pumping can be unbelievably comfortable while often allowing a pumping session to be shorter and sometimes they will yield more milk).
I'm doing some FREE Flange Fitting sessions at my office in Northborough, MA--the purpose of these is to teach IBCLCs and other perinatal professionals about pumping and flange fitting.
Flange Fitting for IBCLC Education (these sessions will be with me and 1-2 IBCLCs who are traveling from other states to learn flange fitting and pumping skills during a VIP Day with me). There are only a few slots available for this purpose and I'd love to fill these first. This may be recorded, if the pumping parent is okay with that, but their face will NOT be included, nor any identifiers. A video release form would need to be signed and the videos will be used for educational purposes. Click on the purple button below to sign up.
Also, some slots are available this Friday/Saturday, March 24 and 25, to do a Flange Fitting with me (and possibly my intern) to do a flange fitting and try out some pumps that I would like to try with pumping parents (Babyation, Cimilre, Ameda Pearl and Ameda Platinum and some others, including some wearables). This will also include videoing the session, but the parent's face and any identifiers won't be included. A video release form would need to be signed.
