TaKiesha Smith, CLC, CBS

Certified Lactation Counselor, DONA‑certified doula, educator, and maternal health advocate dedicated to helping families feel prepared, supported, and empowered throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

She offers hands-on feeding support, pump guidance, and clear, evidence-based lactation education, with a strong commitment to expanding access to lactation support for families in her community. Her specialty includes newborn feeding support.

TaKiesha’s journey into birthwork began early while earning her CNA and interning at a birthing center, where she discovered a passion for supporting families during one of life’s most transformative moments. After several years in education, she formally entered the birth space during the pandemic and quickly became known for her calm presence, practical preparation, and strong advocacy for families.

As a Black mother who experienced a traumatic near-miss birth, TaKiesha is deeply committed to improving maternal health outcomes and ensuring that families—especially those historically underserved—receive respectful, informed, and compassionate care.
