MedCity Community Lactation Center provides lactation and breastfeeding medicine consultations to families throughout the southeast Minnesota region. Our mission is to offer high-quality, evidence-based, and compassionate care to support your family in achieving your feeding goals.

We are part of a collaborative community of perinatal care providers in the area and are committed to working closely with your care team to ensure you receive comprehensive, coordinated support. Our care begins with prenatal appointments and continues through weaning. We offer office visits, limited in-home appointments, and virtual visits to meet families where they are.

We specialize in caring for patients experiencing latching difficulties, slow weight gain, nipple or breast pain and wounds, plugged ducts and mastitis symptoms, low milk supply or oversupply, breast or bottle refusal, pain with pumping or pumping difficulties. We also provide oral tie (tongue, lip, or buccal) assessment, evaluation of oral motor function, and support for induced lactation and relactation.
