Hayley Hoffman, CNM, FACNM, IBCLC, PMH-C

Hayley Hoffman, MSN,CNM, FACNM, IBCLC, is a certified nurse midwife and lactation consultant. She has been practicing full-scope midwifery since 2014, supporting women across the lifespan—from puberty through menopause. She provides prenatal care and especially enjoys guiding families through labor, birth, and the postpartum period.
In 2017, Hayley became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), deepening her commitment to helping families navigate feeding challenges. As both a CNM and IBCLC, she offers a unique clinical perspective that allows her to diagnose, treat, and refer care for both parent and baby.
She was recently honored as a Fellow of the American College of Nurse Midwives (FACNM), recognizing significant professional contributions. Hayley has served as Secretary of the Maryland Affiliate of ACNM and is a founding and current member of the Midwives in Lactation Committee, where she supports the advancement of midwifery-focused lactation education.
Hayley has completed additional training in perinatal mental health and is passionate about supporting families through complex feeding and postpartum experiences. Her clinical interests include tethered oral tissues, perinatal mood disorders, diabetes in pregnancy, and comprehensive fourth trimester support.
Her current research focuses on insulin resistance and its impact on maternal milk supply. She is also pursuing a clinical fellowship in Breastfeeding and Lactation Medicine.
Outside of her professional work, Hayley enjoys spending time with her three children, gardening, crafting, cooking, and being outdoors.
