Amy Hammant, IBCLC and colleagues

I have advanced training in oral habilitation, cranial nerve dysfunction, pediatric feeding and oral motor assessment, pediatric holistic sleep therapy, and CST‑CFT. With degree backgrounds in midwifery and health psychology—focusing on maternal‑child health —I bring both clinical expertise and deep compassion to the families I serve.

Over the years, I’ve had the honor of supporting thousands of families from diverse backgrounds —working in hospital settings, within the community, and ultimately opening Tampa Breastfeeding Center, a full service clinical lactation and breastfeeding center rooted in evidence‑based care and genuine support.

My passion began at home while navigating feeding challenges with my own three children—especially my daughter’s tongue‑tie journey. That experience shaped my commitment to ensuring families have access to non‑judgmental, informed, and compassionate lactation care. My goal is simple: to meet families where they are and support them with respect, knowledge, and heart.
