Laura Dearman, IBCLC

I offer full‑spectrum, holistic lactation care—from prenatal education through gentle weaning. My work is rooted in the belief that parents are the experts on their babies, and I partner with families to support feeding in ways that feel informed, respectful, and empowering.
I’m a mother of five, and I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my care. My own feeding journey has included full‑term breastfeeding as well as exclusive pumping for over 12 months with my preterm twins. I’ve supported birth, bonding, and infant feeding since 2010, and I was thrilled to achieve my long‑time goal of becoming an IBCLC in 2022.
I specialize in holistic lactation care, flange fitting and best practices for pumping, and supporting breastfeeding dyads with FPIES infants, using gentle, food‑based, whole‑family‑centered approaches. My passion for gut health and the microbiome grew from my own family’s healing journey and now deeply informs how I support lactation and early health.
I believe nurturing gut health in the earliest years helps lay the foundation for lifelong wellness—and that providing human milk can be a powerful first step
