Jan Marcott, RN, IBCLC

I’m an IBCLC and the owner of Lactation for Mothers and Babies. I’m passionate about helping mothers and babies reach their feeding goals through compassionate, evidence-based support.

My background includes working as an IBCLC at Mother Baby Lactation Services and serving as an RN and IBCLC at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital, which has given me extensive experience supporting families through all stages of infant feeding.

I specialize in latch and positioning, flange fitting for pumping, low milk supply, and supporting babies with low weight gain. I also help families navigate challenges such as tongue and lip ties.

Outside of my lactation work, I serve on the Board of Directors for the Effingham County Humane Society, reflecting my commitment to caring for both families and animals in my community.

I believe every family deserves personalized guidance, encouragement, and support.
