Claudia Soto, IBCLC, RLC

I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) proudly serving families in the South Texas Rio Grande Valley. With 19 years of experience, I provide compassionate, evidence‑based lactation care tailored to each family’s individual goals.
I have a special passion for supporting NICU families and understand the emotional and practical challenges that can come with premature birth, medical complexity, and establishing milk supply during a hospital stay. My goal is to meet families where they are and offer guidance that feels supportive, not overwhelming.
My areas of focus include latch difficulties, low milk supply and milk production concerns, personalized flange fitting and pump optimization, return‑to‑work planning, support for twins and multiples, and combination feeding. I believe lactation care should be calm, practical, and judgment‑free. I work alongside families to build confidence and create sustainable feeding plans that fit real life.
As a bilingual provider, I am proud to offer services in both English and Spanish, helping ensure families feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout their feeding journey.
